Children’s Activity Calendar: September 2015
[do action=”sponsor-upstart”/]
Now that everyone is settled back into school, September is a great month to focus on libraries and all they have to offer. Here are some ideas for September activities:
- Encourage kids to explore resources on Hispanic culture during Hispanic Heritage Month
- Learn some new words in sign language during Deaf Awareness Week
- Celebrate their freedom to read during Banned Books Week.
This month is also Library Card Sign-Up Month, and don’t forget, mateys — September also celebrates Talk Like a Pirate Day!
Hi – I am working with my children’s ele school and saw a pin on Pinterest for a free activity guide for Read like a Rock star. This is our theme this year. I don ‘t see this on your site – is there any way for you to email this to me if it is still available?
I did see the cups – we may be interested in ordering these. We would need close to 500. Is there a discount for a bulk purchase like that?
Thanks so much!
